Happy Mother's Day!

This weekend Normando and I celebrated the Mom's in our lives...So we decided to invite them over for some Normando and Jamie cooking! I mean you can't get better than a home cooked meal made with LOVE! Its what we do best...Cook! Saturday night we had my mom and dad over and I made my mom Flautas...That's her FAV dish and she also likes this Broccoli salad I make as well. I also made cupcakes the day before, for an order I had...so I made extras so I could give some to my mom...It was really nice having my parents over. We sat and talked and just enjoyed each other's company...

Then today (Sunday) Normando and I made Chicken Parmesan for Normy's Mom and sis. Its a Tradition we started a couple years back. But Normy said he made it for his mom before he met me, so the tradition is still going. I made marinara sauce to go with the chicken Parmesan and homemade noodles. I thought it would be fun to wait till our niece Isela came over for us to roll out the pasta so she could help out and she really loved it...Her and I rolled out all the pasta and at one point she was rolling the noodles out herself! We also had Salad and bread and I made Tiramisu Cupcakes for dessert. I know that Tiramisu is my mother in laws Favorite dessert and I wanted to make it...but its a little pricey to make so I thought the next best thing would be cupcakes! We had a great time...It was a little crazy with all of us in our little apartment but its was a great day to end our weekend!
